Nepal Cancer Relief Society has established a “Tumor Board” consisting of Nepal’s top medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, gynecologists, pediatric oncologists and radiologists. The board is coordinated by Prof Dr. Pradeep Baidya, surgical oncologist of T.U Teaching Hospital. At present the NCRS- tumor board is supported by Fresenius Kabi Oncology Limited. Tumor board was established with the aim of providing best treatment procedure for a cancer patient by a combined discussion of expertise oncologists. Patients suffering from cancer and who wants to put their case in tumor board can register their case at Nepal Cancer Relief Society office, Balkumari and they can put their case for the combined discussion at tumor board to get the best treatment method.
