Introduction

Nepal Cancer Relief society (NCRS), a nationwide community based non-profit making voluntary Organization, was founded by late princess Jayanti Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah to fight against the spread of cancer in Nepal. Established in 2039 BS (1982 AD), NCRS has now expanded its work in 40 districts of the country. There are approximately 10,000 volunteers working for NCRS. NCRS is planning to increase the numbers of branches to all the 75 districts in the country.
 
 

Objectives Of NCRS
Control, prevent and cure cancer in Nepal through cancer screening and public awareness services. Provide rehabilitation services to those who are likely to suffer from cancer.
